Oyster is offering you the chance to do something different during this summer. We want you to have a Summer to Remember!

For this reason Oyster has launched short term placements in some of our most popular destinations. You will benefit from all of the support and knowledge that Oyster can give you both before departure and through our fantastic in-country representatives.

These placements are designed to fit nicely into the UK Academic Summer Holiday period and give those of you the chance to experience another culture without having to take a full Gap Year. This would be ideal also for University Students and Teachers wanting to do something rewarding with their summer.

This summer, we have voluntary projects in Nepal and Tanzania; these vary from teaching in Nepal to helping out an AIDS Awareness program in Tanzania. The placements will last 5-6 weeks and combine a fantastic project with seeing the sights in your chosen country. For example in Tanzania you will go on a Safari and in Nepal you will get to know the people and country during a short trek.

We can also offer paid work opportunities in Canada (must meet eligibility criteria) at the resort of Whistler. This option will run from late June until early September and will be your chance to earn some money in a truly amazing part of the world. This could be the summer job for you!
